Review—Electrochemical Sensors Used for the Determination of Some Antifungal Azoles

Antifungal agents are essential drugs used to treat fungal infections caused by various types of fungi. Due their mechanism action, these bear serious adverse reactions, interact with a wide range other drugs, and negatively impact the environment. Therefore, there is need for accurate, sensitive, reliable detection methods minimize possibly avoid potentially negative effects. Even though so far classical have proven be effective in detecting some disadvantages led scientific community focus its efforts on electrochemical methods, as they simpler use, more require smaller quantity sample minimal pretreatment. This mini-review focuses sensors developed between 2017 2022 detect quantify antifungal azoles, highlighting response characteristics, sensitivity, applicability real samples analysis.
